Fundación CIMAS has supported and encouraged a new kind of North-South community service, based on solidarity, cooperation and integration of diverse world views in order to find alternative solutions to contemporary social, economical, political, and environmental issues. In efforts to create sustainable programs and community-based development alternatives in rural and impoverished regions throughout Ecuador, CIMAS facilitates creative and efficient interventions in the Canton Pedro Moncayo in the Pichincha province. We invite you to be part of these opportunities by making a donation to support our work and collaboration with Ecuador’s diverse communities:

Scholarships

For a child or adolescent to complete high school and/or university. Your contribution of a dollar a day will change the life of a student, providing the opportunity for a better future. A number of our scholarship students have received college degrees.

With your contribution you will receive information about the student sponsored, a letter, report cards and photos.

Support for the elderly

To provide nutritional and medical assistance, a contribution of one dollar a day will afford one senior citizen one meal a day, community therapy, medical supervision and recreational activities in a community center for adults. Activities are linked to CECUIDAS in participating districts.

Medical Emergency Fund

A poor child, woman or senior citizen often requires extensive medical assistance and/or financial aid. We appreciate any financial support that can be extended to the poor, rural communities of Ecuador.

Construction of facilities for: the county governments of Pedro Moncayo, Ministry of Social and Economic Inclusion, Inter-oceanic Valley Rotary Club, and the Embassy of the Netherlands.

  • CECUIDA Tocachi and Cochasquí: Municipality of Pedro Moncayo, District Board of Tocachi, the German foundation Pro Vita Andina, Fundación Cimas.
  • CECUIDAS of Malchingui, funded by the Municipality and District Board of Malchingi, Dutch embassy and Interoceanic Valley Rotary Club in Quito.
  • Center of Capacitation for the Promotion of Health and Development (CAPSYD) in the Malchingui, Hope, Tupigachi and Tabacundo districts, equipped with a Matching Grant from the Inter-oceanic Valley Rotary Club in Quito.

Fundación Cimas guarantees that your donations will reach the specificed individual or group. Consistent and up-to-date information about your donation and the designated beneficiary will be available to you upon your generous contribution to any one of the Cimas projects and programs.
